Here’s an excerpt from a rehearsal recording of “Love’s Little Satan” for violin and double bass, to be performed at the ChamberLab concert on November 29th at the Hotel Congress. That’s me on the bass, and Nick Coventry on violin!
ChamberLab -- Tucson's Alt-Classical, DIY Chamber Music Series -- is celebrating its first anniversary with a special concert at Cafe Desta. This concert will be recorded by Craig Schumacher of Wavelab for a live album!
For one year, ChamberLab has been on a mission to tunnel under the wall that separates classical music from every other kind of music in the world. In the past year this series has grown into something truly wonderful. It's time to step up and show off what we've done and to make a record of it in the process. This is our victory lap!
Please visit our Indiegogo campaign at left to learn more and be a part of the celebration. Reserve your seats and sign up for copies (both digital and physical) of the finished live album!

I’m writing a narrated string trio with percussion for the next ChamberLab concert. It hums and thunders …

I’ve broken ground on the bassoon trios for the next ChamberLab, which will be parts 2 and 3 of the first one I wrote for the last concert. The first one was called “Wait, What Did I Come In Here For?” and is here:
The next ones are tentatively entitled “Now Just Think A Minute” and “Damn It.”
On May 19th the Hotel Congress hosted the spring ChamberLab concert, and I’m very happy to announce that the live recording of the show is now available! You purchase of the album, and of the stylish T-shirts to go along with it, directly supports our future efforts, and will ultimately fund a full-length studio album!
